Skate Australia has officially unveiled its lineup for the first stop of the 2025 World Skate Tour in Rome, igniting a wave of excitement across the nation's skate community. As the tour kicks off in one of the world’s most iconic cities, fans will see Australia represented by a dynamic and diverse group of both street and park skaters, ready to take on the global stage with style, grit, and creative flair.

Among those selected are some of the country's top talents, with a mix of Olympians, seasoned pros and four new debutants. The Rome event, known for its high-caliber competition and electric atmosphere, will be a crucial opportunity for athletes to earn Olympic qualifying points, test themselves against the world’s best, and showcase Australian skateboarding on a massive platform.

Among the athletes proudly donning the green and gold are Coco Crafter and Chihiro Young – two riders from Kingswood Skateboards, marking a huge moment for the independent Australian skate brand. For Coco Crafter, this marks her second consecutive year on the World Skate Tour, bringing with her a growing reputation for consistency, technical precision, and fearless style. After making a solid impression last year, Coco returns with valuable experience and a clear focus on pushing further up the global rankings.

In contrast, making her World Skate Tour debut, Chihiro Young is one of the most exciting new additions to the Australian Team. Hailing from a strong local scene, Chihiro has built a reputation for her explosive style, smooth flow, and creative lines. At just 13 years of age, Chihiro’s selection signals the arrival of a new generation of Australian talent ready to make waves on the world Skate Stage.

For Kingswood Skateboards, having two riders selected for the national team is a proud and defining moment. The brand has long been committed to supporting skaters from the grassroots up, and seeing both Coco and Chihiro earn their spots is a powerful validation of that mission. “We couldn’t be more excited to see Coco return to the tour and to watch Chihiro step into her first global comp,” said a spokesperson from Kingswood. “They both represent the spirit of Kingswood – hard work, creativity, and a complete love for the sport”
